Medusa è la celebre figura mitologica greca nota per possedere un groviglio di serpenti per capelli, immagine che viene suggerita dall’anello grazie all’intricata trama di forme circolari concentriche che ne caratterizzano la sommità. La parte a contatto con la pelle non è un tradizionale circolo ma due valve che, grazie all’elasticità del materiale, possono espandersi per adattarsi a diversi diametri di dito.

Una forma complessa che valorizza la tecnologia di produzione: la geometria del gioiello è infatti irreplicabile con tecnologie diverse dalla stampa 3D SLS/SLA

The part in contact with skin is not a traditional circle but two valves that, thanks to the elasticity of the material, can expand and adapt to different fingers’ diameter.

A complex shape that enhances the production technology: the jewel’s geometryis in fact irreplicable with technologies different from SLS / SLA 3D printing.
