Mirny è un porta incenso che deve il suo nome all’omonima città Russa che ospita la più grande miniera di diamanti al mondo, alla quale si rifà nel suo aspetto conico scavato. La forma semplice e compatta viene arricchita dalla diversa finitura superficiale dell’interno del pezzo, nera e scandita da cerchi concentrici fino al foro centrale per reggere il bastoncino di incenso.

Mirny is an incense holder that owes its name to the homonym Russian city that hosts the largest diamond mine in the world tho whose shape it takes inspiration from. The simple and compact shape is enriched by the different surface finish of the interior of the piece, black and marked by concentric circles up to the central hole to hold the incense stick.
